I took the plunge

I took the plunge and bought my own domain. Soon this blog will be www.ramblingsofaworkingmom.com!! YAY. I decided to do this and take my blog to the next level and be more professional. I want to try to and post more often as well. Life just gets in the way sometimes and the next week and half are busy with studying for the promotion board. I will try do it at least every other day until next Friday.

We have done nothing this weekend but shill at the house and go to the library, which we do every Saturday.  The kids love it and it feeds my addiction to books. This week I did not check out any because I am part of a book club, that was set up by a favorite blogger, http://laceyinloveblog.blogspot.com/.

 Along with the package was some tea, which so far as been great to drink and read the book with and all of my favorite candy. How did she know those where all my favorites? I will never know, but THANK YOU!! This book club is proving to be great so far!!

For all my mommies out there, check out the 5 minutes for mom blog, it has a great mothers day giveway and we all deserve that don't we? I mean we do almost everything around the house and we are always there for our kids and husbands. They have a great blog and you can check out other peoples blogs as well. What a day

 

I may not be an Army wive, but I am married to the Army, LOL.  Its my first day back to work after two four-day weekends. I had fun but now the Army is calling me back. I didn't even eat lunch I was so busy, and tomorrow I have a class that is 3 hours away!! But it provides for my family and that's worth it to me. I love the the military and all that it stands for. I love the feeling I get when I do something good. Well that is all I got today. I am off to bed as I have to get uo 4 am!!

The Ultimate Blog Party, what I found!!

The UBP 2010 was great. I spent hours browsing blogs. My husband now thinks I am addicted to blogging, which may be true. But its a good addiction right? I still want to go through more, but I need to find more time and I just can't!! I have work and need to study for a promotion board, so alas I am can only do a little at a time.

However I did find a few that may be my blog soul mates!! I am hoping to find a few more and hoping some find me!!

She works and she uses bad language, I swear we were separated at birth!! It is hard to find working moms who blog and she is a funny one who speaks to m y heart!! Love her.

I also love people with lives in the military. As I am in the service, I like to meet people and this one is coming to where I am at!! YAY, hoping we can actually meet and become real friends, her blog is great as well, drew me in just by the name

Queen of my house, she is the only girl with all boys in her house, just like me. We have a lot in common and that's lovely and that's why I like her!!

I found many many more, but if I posted them all I would be here for hours. I am hoping for more followers, but that will come in time!!

I have a 9 yr old!!

Today my oldest turns 9! Where did the time go? I remember when he was born. It seems like yesterday. The cute baby face, the lovely baby smell. Now he talks back and dresses himself and actually is worried about his looks. He asks so many questions a day and if I don't have the answer he will say. "well you should know, your the mom" and then walk away. Cracks me up. He is growing up so fast.

 Of course I don't have any of him on my computer of him when he was a little baby!!

The most current I can find LOL!! I will take more today when we go play at the Megaplay. A huge indoor playground!!
